SHOW ME THE FRACTALS!
Clicking on the link above will take you to my page on Picasa and you can view my fractal art. Once you see the Fractal Collection folder, click Slideshow, put it on Full Screen mode and then sit back and enjoy the ride!
My fractal art illustrates how the inexplicable science of the chaos theory can stun us with its inherent beauty and complexity. My home computer and printer were all it took to get me started creating fractals in 1998, and I have created hundreds of fractals in the years since. Fractal generation software, such as TieraZon, the fractal generation software program I prefer, can be downloaded freely from the Internet.
Understanding the mathematical process of fractal creation is not required to appreciate the amazingly beautiful results. I've proven that anyone can use a fractal generation program to create art of substantial interest, regardless of understanding the intricacies of the chaos theory. Despite lifelong difficulties mastering mathematical concepts, my ability to manipulate lengthy equations to subtly change the appearance of common fractals into works of art gives me great pleasure. I zoom in on each fractal and tweak the filters and color parameters, then I pore over each fractal, explore each hidden recess, and contemplate the composition of every swirl and hue.
Over time, experimentation with a variety of paper proved that photo paper with color ink on the highest printer resolution settings resulted in fractals with a luminosity and depth that prove they are more that just a pretty equation. I then designed an even more otherworldly form of fractal art. Each fractal was painstakingly printed on sheets of holographic paper. This special paper catches light and reflects colors and shapes in a whole new way. I also mat and frame each fractal myself, to provide the viewer with a finished piece that is ready to hang and brighten anyone's home or office.

Viewers often question how I choose names for each fractal, names like Balance, Red Dawn, Holographic, and Beloved. I use the first appropriate word that comes to mind, prompting many viewers to say "I would have called this one..."
Here's how you can get your own fractal from Perrine's Collection:
It's easy! Simply click on the link at the top of this page that says SHOW ME THE FRACTALS. You will be taken to Picasa, where you can view over 50 of my favorite fractals to find the one that you love the best. Then, contact me if you are interested in purchasing a fractal of your own!
- A .jpg file of a special fractal personalized just for you or a friend is $10.
- An unframed glossy print, ready to frame fractal is $20
- A framed fractal ready to hang costs between $20 to $85 depending on the size of the frame.
